A rotting tooth can become very painful when in the mouth and can also cause bad breath. Tooth decay has been a problem since beginning of man. Some people do not realize that rotting teeth cause health problems. The poisons developed in the mouth from toxins seep into the bodies systems and cause inflammations, possibly leading to other health problems injurious to the body.

Food particles can hide in a rotten tooth, over the course of the day eating various foods and perhaps not having the opportunity to brush between meals; food settles and causes bad breath. Plaque can hide in the crevices of a bad tooth and steadily eat away at the tooth until it eventually gets to the nerve. In reality, rotting teeth are serious problems that must be medically dealt with. They are not a thing that will go away and they will not get better. As with a rotten piece of fruit until the bad part is removed the whole will continue to deteriorate.

Rotting teeth can keep you from smiling and have a terrible affect on your social life. You will find yourself avoiding social functions and if you have a spouse maybe being less affectionate because of rotten teeth. The effect this seemingly simple circumstance can have on your life goes way beyond a bad tooth. Eating certain foods can become difficult due to the infecting of gum areas close to the rotting tooth because of weakness in surrounding teeth. If rotting teeth are unattended, eating foods to keep your body healthy will become difficult, or impossible.

Friends may love you but avoid you because of bad breath, so, if you have rotting teeth for the sake of your health get to the dentist as soon as possible; this would be the best thing to do. Some people are adverse to dentist for fear of pain, but there are procedures to make the process easy. No one wants to have rotting teeth or bad breath and for those out there with this problem, there is help.
